Knowlton & Newman’s transformer repair section carry out a wide range of repairs/rewinds to Auto Transformers, Isolating Transformers, and Solenoid coils, both in 3 phase and single phase.
In addition to being able to provide a 24 hour 365 day a year service to any type of transformer whether oil cooled or air-cooled, we are also able to up-grade equipment to take account of modern superior insulation systems.
All Transformers and coils are repaired to a very high standard using only quality materials.
Full on-site services are available to test, remove, re-fit and fully commission the unit if required. This may include gasket changes, cable tracing, replacing silica gel breathers. We can also undertake thermography to detect any hot spots.
